Nestled among the iconic red rock formations, this resort blends tranquility, nature, and luxury in a way that’s hard to beat. You can read more about my full Arizona trip [here](insert link).
Overview
Set in a secluded canyon and surrounded by Sedona’s famous red rocks, Enchantment Resort offers the perfect balance of adventure and serenity. Whether you’re hiking through the scenic Red Rock Trails, enjoying a desert-inspired spa treatment, or simply unwinding with canyon views from your terrace, the environment is effortlessly calming.
There’s something here for every kind of traveler. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with nature, indulge in wellness offerings, or just enjoy some downtime in a peaceful setting, the resort delivers.
Room Details
While the resort grounds were exceptional, one area that felt underwhelming was the interior of the room. I emphasize “interior” because the exterior architecture stays true to the essence of Sedona. It feels natural, earthy, and canyon-inspired. Inside, however, the design felt dated and could really benefit from an upgrade, especially considering the premium rate.
That said, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room included a private outdoor terrace, which was a nice touch. I spent time there in the early mornings, coffee in hand, just soaking in the view. The bathroom featured dual sinks and a toilet with a private enclosure, which I always appreciate. While the décor wasn’t my favorite, there were no issues with cleanliness or function. Everything worked as it should.
Amenities
This hotel offers some of the most extensive included amenities I’ve experienced.
From daily fitness classes and guided hikes to access to tennis courts, pickleball, and mountain bikes, you could easily stay busy without leaving the property. Guests can also explore the nearby Mii amo spa, a destination in itself. I booked a massage there and it was amazing. The spa experience felt serene and deeply restorative. Even if you’re not staying at Mii amo, guests of Enchantment are welcome to visit and book treatments.
You’ll also find on-site dining, an outdoor pool, and a schedule of wellness and enrichment programming throughout the week. Whether it was yoga, guided stargazing, or culinary tastings, there was always something to look forward to.
Service
The service at Enchantment was exceptional. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a relaxing stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and felt well taken care of throughout. Little gestures like remembering your name or offering thoughtful recommendations really added to the experience.
Location
Enchantment Resort is located about 2 hours north of Phoenix, making it an easy and scenic drive through Arizona’s desert landscape. The resort is tucked into a private canyon, so while it feels completely secluded and peaceful, you’re still just a short drive from Sedona’s top attractions like Cathedral Rock, Devil’s Bridge, and Chapel of the Holy Cross.
The resort’s setting is truly a standout feature. You’re surrounded by nature, but still have access to everything you need, whether it’s trails, shops, or photo-worthy lookout points.
Value
Given the range of amenities and level of service, I found the stay offered good value overall. While the room interiors could use a refresh, the access to Mii amo, wellness programs, and included activities helped balance the price. If you’re the kind of traveler who takes advantage of all the offerings, I think you’ll feel you’re getting a lot out of the experience.
Would I Stay Again?
Absolutely.
We were told that about 70% of guests are return visitors, and honestly, that speaks for itself. Enchantment Resort is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. There’s so much to do, yet it’s also perfectly suited for doing nothing at all.
I’d definitely return, especially to explore more of the trails, book another spa experience at Mii amo, and simply slow down. Whether you’re solo, with a partner, or on a girls’ trip, this is the kind of place where you leave feeling lighter and more grounded than when you arrived.
